Live Fire Drills!
My brother is seventeen years old and is enrolled in the Fire Science Class at Fort Osage Career and Technology Center! What the class is for is to teach these kids everything about being an Fireman and an EMT. It is pretty much all of the classes that people pay thousands of dollars to take to become certified, but for free! A few weeks ago they were having their first live fire drills, the teacher and the real firemen come and they set fires and the kids in the class get to learn how to put them out! they had a car fire, a house fire, a dumpster fire, chemical fire (propane mostly), and just a general outside fire! I was invited by the class to go take all kinds of interesting photos for them! I had so much fun! Here are some of my favorites:
First fire of the day...The Car Fire:
Being Lit...
Being Put Out:
Second fire of the day...Interior fire (house fire):
The image is a bit distorted, the firemen had me literally standing feet from the fire so the heat kind of distorts it a bit!
My brother...preparing to go inside!
Third fire of the day...the general outside fire:
Gathering more hoses for next fire...
Forth fire of the day...A Chemical Fire (mostly propane):
Fifth fire of the day...A Dumpster Fire:

Easter 2006
Easter this year was so much fun! I have such a big family that it is hard for us to fit into one house! This year we rented a shelter house. There were a little over thirty people there! There were lots of little kids who went easter egg hunting! While they were doing that the older boys were fishing! The older girls were all standing around talking to all of our aunts! And all of my uncles were sitting around playing cards! mostly switching back and forth between Poker and Texas Hold 'Em! Everyone had lots of fun!
Before the Easter Egg Hunt...
Hiding of the Easter Eggs for the children...
Here they come to search for the eggs! Counting the eggs to see who found the most and gets a prize!!
Me and my cousin Abby! She is the baby of the family! She is soo excited to have found an egg!! My cousin thinks he is small enough to play in the dump truck like his sister Abby!
St. Joe Indoor Areena Football
I have this friend which is a cheerleader for the St. Joe football team! I went to the game to see her! Hopefully she makes the Kansas City Chiefs tema next year so I have an excuse to go to lots of their games! I love football! It was an interesting game! deffiantely a lot different than a Chiefs game! I had never been to an areena football game before this! It makes me want to go see the Kansas City Brigade!
